For high traffic locations, a handheld scanner might be useful to scan the QR code on the GoPhoto - PhotoPass.
To get started you will need:
An Apple iPhone (iOS) or Android device with the GoPhoto - Camera app installed
An Opticon handheld bluetooth scanner + Quick start guide
Printed PhotoPasses with QR codes

Initial connection
Step 1. Turn on bluetooth on your (mobile) device
To connect the scanner, turn on bluetooth in the settings of your (mobile) device.
Step 2. Scan QR code
Take the 'Quick start guide' that get's delivered with your handheld bluetooth scanner and scan the Bluetooth mode HID (Most Common). To scan, you press the large button on the scanner. When the QR code is scanned, your scanner will start to bleep and a yellow light starts to blink above the large button.
Step 3. Turn on bluetooth of your scanner
Now press the small button on the scanner and hold it until the light blinks blue.
Step 4. Establish connection
On the back of the scanner you’ll find the serial number of the scanner, find the same number in the list of bluetooth devices.

Select the scanner and wait until the blue light on the scanner turns green.
Step 5. Check connection
Return to the Camera app and start scanning by pressing the large button. After you scan the PhotoPass it will be visible in the QR list in the app.
Daily connection
After the initial connection you need to re-activate the scanner every time you open the photographer app following these simple steps:
Step 1. Log in to your Camera app
Login to the app with your personal code and turn on your camera. The bluetooth icon in the app is still red.
Step 2: Connect with bluetooth
Press and hold the large button of the scanner until it starts to blink blue.
Step 3: Establish connection
The bluetooth icon will now turn green and you are ready to use the scanner.
