When you push the button of your wireless trigger (also called transmitter) and it's not working please follow the step-by-step instructions below to check what's wrong.
Step 1. Check trigger
Check if the trigger is switched on. You can find the switch on the right side.
Step 2. Replace batteries
The trigger is on but the light is not blinking green indicates the batteries are empty → Replace the batteries.
Step 3. Check receiver
The trigger is on, has battery but when I press the button to shoot a photo the light blinks red but no photo is shot:
Check if the receiver is on and blinking green. If it's not blinking indicates the batteries are empty → Replace the batteries.
When you have followed all steps above but still no photo is taken when you press the button, the trigger and receiver are disconnected. Please follow the step-by-step instructions below.
Step-by-step instructions to reconnect your trigger and receiver
Step 1. Get trigger and receiver
Hold both the trigger and receiver in your hands. Make sure the cable of the receiver stays connected.
Step 2. Turn off
Turn both trigger and receiver off with the switch on the right side.
Step 3. Push button of the trigger
Push the grey button of the trigger and keep pushing while you turn it on.
The trigger starts to blink green. Now release the button.
Step 4. Push the button of the receiver
Push the grey button of the receiver and keep pushing while you turn it on.
The light of the receiver turns red. Now release the button.
Step 5. Turn off
Turn both trigger and receiver on and off at the same time.
Step 6. Check connection
Press the grey button of the trigger to check if they are connected again and a photo is being shot.
If you have followed the steps above and they are still not connected, try again until it works.
If after a couple of tries still no photos are shot when pressing the button of the trigger the button might be broken. When this is the case you have to replace both trigger and receiver with a new set.
