Tier Pricing

Describes the Tier Pricing functionality you can activate in your CMS - Each next product is cheaper than the previous (up to 3 layers)

Updated over a year ago

With the ‘Tier pricing feature’ visitors will receive more discount at the Order Station, the more products they are buying. Every time they add a product to their cart that participates in the tier pricing, this product will get cheaper.

PRICING ANIMATION

When the visitor lands on the ‘photo detail page’ for the first time, the regular price of the product will show. When the visitor adds their first tier-priced product to their cart, the price of this product will change with a carousel animation and it will show the old price crossed through right above it. This keeps happening until the lowest tier price is reached.

The price for the product and the tier it’s currently on will be the same for every back-ground. It is not needed to buy three of the same photos in order to receive the discount.

POP-UP

The first time a visitor adds a tier priced product to their cart, a popup can be shown (This pop-up can be enabled/disabled in CMS and there you can also set the styling for the pop-up).

This will only appear once per session. So the following times a tier priced product gets added to the cart, no popup will show. When the cart is completely emptied and the visitor adds a ‘first product’ again to the cart, no pop-up will show. When the visitor ends the session on the Order Station and logs in again, only then the pop-up will show after adding the first tier priced product to the cart.

CART

When the visitor is ready to finish their order, they go to the cart. Within the cart they will see all products they selected. The tier priced products will always show below each other, so they can easily see which products they bought at which price.

DISCOUNT CALCULATION

At the bottom of the cart you have the calculation of the total amount for the visitor to pay. This calculation also includes the ‘discount’. This discount is a sum of all money saved with the tier priced products. So in the above example that’s $3.00 + $5.00 + $5.00 = $13.00.
