Step-by-step guide when your on-screen keyboard is not showing after connecting your handheld bluetooth scanner

QUICK START GUIDE

  1. Tap the screen 3 times.

  2. Swipe down from the top.

  3. Go to Settings.

  4. Go to Languages and Input.

  5. Turn on you on-screen keyboard.

As a handheld bluetooth scanner is recognised by Android as a keyboard, the on-screen keyboard can get disabled.

STEPS EXPLAINED:

Step 1. Tap the tablet screen 3 times.

  • This will get you into the main menu and make it possible for you to swipe down the notification drawer.

Step 2. Swipe down from the top.

  • In Android, you can go to your settings by swiping down from the top of the screen first.

Step 3. Tap on the Settings Icon.

Step 4. Go to 'Languages and Input'

Step 5. Turn on your on-screen keyboard

Select the option 'Physical keyboard'. After tapping on 'Physical keyboard' you will see the option 'Show virtual keyboard'. Slide the toggle to the right to enable your on-screen keyboard while your handheld bluetooth scanner is connected.
