Printer is not printing photos

Step-by-step guide

Updated over 3 months ago

QUICK START GUIDE:

  1. Check if printer is on.

  2. Check Print Station Dashboard.

  3. Check printer for error lights.

STEPS EXPLAINED:

Step 1. Check if printer is on.

Check if the light under POWER is steady green. If not, try the power switch on the bottom right. If that does not change anything, check if the power-cable is plugged in correctly in the back & in the power socket.

Step 2. Check Print Station Dashboard

Are the printers connected? If not, try these steps. These will fix almost any problem the DNP printer can have:

  1. Turn off printers front, right bottom there is the switch.

  2. Logout print kiosk app, left bottom of screen.

  3. Close app, right bottom of screen

  4. Restart windows, right bottom of screen.

  5. When restarting turn back on printers

  6. Log back into app

If the printers are connected, check the amount of paper next to the status.

Step 3. Check printer for error lights.

Check if there is an orange light blinking on the printer. If so - open the printer, there might be paper stuck. If so, take out the paper roll to check. When there is paper stuck you might have to pull out the paper a little harder. When the paper roll is out of the printer, cut off the part that was stuck and put the paper roll back. Make sure to roll the paper into the printer until you hear it 'beep'.

If the paper is not the issue, check this table for the right combination or error lights and possible solutions.
