White loading screen / Wipe Cache

Frozen white screen with loading circle, can't take pictures anymore.

QUICK START GUIDE:

  1. Press and hold the power button.

  2. Press Power off on-screen.

  3. Wait until the screen is black

  4. Press Volume up + Power button at the same time.

  5. Stop pressing when you enter the Recovery menu.

  6. Navigate to "Wipe cache partition".

  7. Press Power button to confirm.

  8. Navigate to "Yes".

  9. Press Power button to confirm.

When your Capture Tower or Capture Box is in use for a long time, it's possible that an issue pops up which makes it freeze in a loading screen when taking a photograph. This will look like a white screen with an endless loading circle in the middle:

STEPS EXPLAINED:

Step 1. Press and hold the power button (2).

Press and hold the Power button (2) until a menu pops up on the right side, where you can press power off.

Step 2. Press Power off on-screen.

Step 3. Wait until the screen is black.

This will take about 5 seconds.

Step 4. Press Volume up (1) + Power button (2) at the same time.

Press these buttons at the exact same time, this will make the tablet boot into the Recovery Menu with a long list of options. As you're behind the Capture Tower / Capture Box, it's easier to have another person stand in front of the tablet to tell you what the screen does.

Step 5. Stop pressing when you enter the Recovery menu.

When the other person tells you that the Recovery menu is visible, stop pressing the buttons or the tablet might reboot again.

Step 6. Navigate to "Wipe cache partition".

Use the Volume buttons (2) to navigate to the option to wipe the cache partition.

Step 7. Press Power button to confirm.

Use the Power button (2) to confirm your selection, taking you to the next screen.

Step 8. Navigate to "Yes".

Use the Volume buttons again, pressing once to change the selection to Yes.

Step 9. Press Power button to confirm.

Press the power button one more time to confirm the wiping of the cache partition.
