The Capture App’s settings page has a few sub-tabs from where the user can access different kinds of settings. The settings page can be accessed from the Start Screen.
Header Overview
Throughout all sub-tabs there is one element that is always showing; the header.
The header shows the following information:
Back arrow
→ Returns to the start screenCamera status icon
Green: Camera is connected
Red: Camera is not connected
Upload status icon
Grey: No uploads in progress
Green: Photos are currently uploading
Red: There is an issue uploading photos
Internet status icon
Green: Connected to the internet
Orange: Connected to a network, but no internet access
Red: No internet connection
Photographer name
→ Displays the currently logged-in user
General
The General tab provides an overview of your session and device status.
Here you’ll find:
Photos taken
→ Total number of photos taken since loginUpload queue
Checkmark: No photos waiting to upload
Number shown: Photos are still in the queue
Campaign
→ The campaign you are uploading photos toPhoto type
→ The type of photos assigned to this photographerCamera
→ Camera connection statusBluetooth device
→ Status of connected Bluetooth deviceNetwork speed
→ Displays the result of a speed testStart test
→ Tap to run a network speed testApp version
→ Shows the current version of the app
Upload Queue
If photos are still waiting to upload, you can manage them here.
You have two options:
Restart upload
→ Attempts to re-upload all photos in the queueCheck queue
→ Opens a detailed overview of queued photos
Inside the queue, you’ll see all photos that are still pending upload.
From here, you can:
Retry uploads
Remove individual photos using the bin icon
When removing a photo, a confirmation popup will appear:
Cancel
→ Keeps the photo and returns to the queueRemove
→ Deletes the photo from the queue
Settings
The Settings tab contains two sections:
Capture Settings
Countdown duration
→ Adjust how long the countdown lasts before taking a photoPhoto preview duration
→ Adjust how long the photo preview is shown after captureLive Preview toggle
On: Shows live camera view before capture
Off: Uses standard capture flow
Photo Confirmation toggle
On: Allows users to confirm or retake photos
Off: Photos are automatically uploaded
Camera Settings
Keep default camera settings
On: The app applies default camera settings from the CMS
Off: No settings are applied automatically
When enabled:
The app retrieves settings from the CMS
These settings are applied to the connected camera
If no settings are available, an error will be shown
A list of the applied camera settings will be displayed below the toggle.
Help
The Help tab provides quick access to support.
Scan the QR code to open the GoPhoto Help Center
From there, you can browse articles or start a chat with the support team
Log out
To log out of the app:
Click the Log out tab
Confirm your choice in the popup
Cancel
→ Stay logged in and return to the previous screenLogout
→ Log out of the app and return to the login screen
